| Just a reminder to vote for your favorite Nolanverse prompts for our upcoming challenge. Please go here!An additional prompt has been added to the list in the comments. Even if you've already voted, if you want to add a vote for that prompt please comment on that post. There are a couple prompts with a clear lead, but the others can all go either way! Also, I've decided to not lock any prompt into a "drabble" or "oneshot" A) because I wouldn't be able to choose fairly in something special like this and B) I want to encourage everyone to participate and not be frustrated with having to stretch or squeeze your ideas. So whatever length your story is for each prompt, please post it! I'll have the first prompt up Monday. I've tried to contact the mods of batfic to ask if we can advertise, but I haven't heard a response. The profile doesn't say anything either way. If there are comms that you guys know are okay with advertising, please feel free to let them know what we're doing! | |

| If anyone has thought of any more Nolanverse-specific themes, leave them in the comments here, and I'll put together a poll on Wednesday, and starting Monday the four themes with the most votes will be included in the Nolanverse Challenge collection! | |

| It's me, Quiet Tiger. I let my paid account expire and somehow lost my Batman icon, so I figured considering people's thoughts on recent DC, I'd use my "DC is Crack" icon. Anyway, peter_24601 suggested doing a Nolanverse-themed countdown to the release of The Dark Knight Rises, which comes out in theaters July 20th, and I thought that was a great way to try to spark some muses. If we start May 28th, that gives us four themes to write for with the voting for that fourth theme starting July 20th. I'll admit to not watching the Nolanverse movies in a while, so I'm drawing a blank on things specific to that 'verse other than the Narrows and the Tumbler. If anyone planning to participate leaves prompt ideas in the comments here, I can compile them into a poll for people to vote on next week. That way we can have four Nolanverse themes that the most people may feel inspired by to rev up before the movie, and from there go back to a regular prompt list (I'll do another post to collect post-movie prompts at a later date). Any thoughts or suggestions? | |

| I'm going to do a poll to collect the community's thoughts on what to do with it. There haven't been enough stories to hold a vote since February, and very few people are commenting on people's stories but me. I don't have a problem posting prompts every two weeks, but I don't want to go to the trouble of the voting post and fitting a story into the deadline if only one other person does it and no one reads anything anyway. Or we can discontinue the comm entirely. Or we can take a hiatus and return in June. I'd had a post for new prompts here so it's not that people are tired of my prompts, which I can understand and why I opened it up for everyone to submit prompts you'd like to write. Please take the poll:
